Nantong Hengqiang Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd was founded by a postgraduate who had engaged in the processing of copper industry over a decade and worked as several presswork, mechanical and electrical engineer from former Wuhu Smelter Plant with rich both of theoretical knowledge and practice experience. The horizontal continuous casting equipments used by most of the processing of copper domestic manufacturers depend on the furnace shake, chaining, ratchet and time relay to fulfill the procedure of processing . The process parameters for the ways of the furnace shake are numerous, which are difficult to be employed in practice; chaining and ratchet could not ensure the manufacturing accuracy due to mechanical wear; and the time relay also could lead the quality trouble due to the ageing of capacitor. In view of the above mentioned, the FEFC took an example of British Loitonmeid company and developed a new numeric-control horizontal continuous casting machine which advantages are on simple operations and accurate process as well as intelligent control by means of the replacement of conventional process: furnace shake, chaining, ratchet and time relay by PLC controlled servo motor (frequency motor). Thanks to its intelligent characteristics, you could adjust the process parameters on operation (no need suspending the machine) for the guarantee of products quality in case of controlling ingot cracks or other defects, which could facilitate you to obtain the process parameters quicker and better via on-line operations and ensure you a more stable product quality.
FEFC could produce horizontal continuous casting equipments for the processing of the copper and copper alloy: φ40mm~φ160mm tube billet, φ12mm ~φ160mm solid ingot and 100×10mm ~ 440×16mm strip. The equipments of semi-continuous casting could manufacture φ100mm~φ360mm solid ingot and 80×360mm ~ 180×640mm slab ingots.
The equipments of Vertical Continuous Casting（Up-casting）could manufacture products including red copper tube billet (maximumφ100mm ) and red copper bar (maximum diameter 35mm) and drawing of solid red copper bar billet (maximum diameter 50mm. In addition the red copper bus (max. 100×10mm) could be drawn by replacing old technology (high cost ), namely: iron die casting, hot rolling and extrusion.
